History
In 1977, Mr. Jorge Rojas and his wife Yolanda Loría founded COPRE in San José, Costa Rica. From its inception, COPRE has supplied tools and machinery to the metalworking industry, offering technical advice and financing to support entrepreneurs in precision mechanics workshops and technical education. Today, their innovative and technological legacy continues through their daughter Keyth Rojas Loría, son-in-law Lieven Vanderjeugt, and a dedicated team of collaborators committed to service, product availability, technical advice, and support throughout the Central American region. COPRE delivers precision mechanics solutions in various industrial sectors, including medical, electronics, automotive, agriculture, plastics, molds and dies, construction, academia, and quality control laboratories, among others.
In 2008, COPRE expanded into the Central American market, establishing a presence in Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, El Salvador, and Guatemala.
Currently, we have a highly committed and technically skilled team of professionals who not only have in-depth knowledge of the industry but also understand the specific needs of each client. At COPRE, product and service availability is a constant priority. This combination of service and availability not only optimizes the customer experience but also reinforces our commitment to being a reliable strategic partner in the growth and ongoing success of metalworking operations throughout the region.
